Artist statement :- Anand Prakash
This is my 4th solo show and it is very special for because I have been working in Bhopal for more than 15 years.And i am going to display my art work those who have a strong connection with this place.
I was born on 15th Sep 1980 at Prayagraj (Allahabad), a city known for literary and artistic heritage. Prayagraj lies at Sangam or the Confluence of three rivers. A city which is celebrating Mahakumbh, every 12 years since long time. As per Hindu mythology, convergence of Ganga and Yamuna rivers is visible however river Saraswati is present in the form of knowledge. My artistic life is hugely influenced by abstract form of mythical Saraswati river.
The idea (concept) of my art is based on natural impressions and prehistoric mural drawings which are found under the combined drawings of the art of human development. And its naturalness, which is related to my work, is the pillar of social environment and natural environment and the basis of contemporary today. I like the ease, simplicity and nature of what is trying to establish the authenticity of time and interval and I use it.
In my work, textures that generate natural expressions and free graphs, new free form shapes are scenarios of present-day subject and situation by meditating on my work. These are related to my reality of my life. Which has psychological, logistical and spiritual influence of social tradition and customs, livelihood, transfer and environmental change etc. on the effect of unconscious state on my inner being.
I do not accept any compulsion of color while doing my work, they have caught a glimpse of each other, I explore every color of life. The layer-by-layer imprint and free drawing of my texture takes my work to its original creation. I believe that raids obtained in nature have a far-reaching story and event.
Due to the fluidity of the acrylic color and the properties of its viscosity, I have reduced the density of my thoughts much less. It helps me to express myself in a better way. I believe that the fragile characteristic of nature is indelible truth. It always opens new dimensions of knowledge and where there is always a possibility of being new. It attempts to establish oneself between time and interval. And always gives birth to new creations, they are not born for any selfish fulfillment, but by charitable purpose. In my visible world, there is a soul happiness, world peace and expansion of creation.
During my work, a series is created when the medium, subject and the situations are similar. But in the next work, the situation seems different from the medium and the situation changes. They are not interconnected, but the next work is a connected part of the previous work.
Right now, I am working in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh as a freelancer painter for the last 15 years.
